CFO Strategic Partner Greg Hughes has over 30 years of experience in CFO, Company Secretary and senior executive roles in well known organisations in Australia/New Zealand, Asia/Pacific and Europe.

Specialist areas: Strategic and operational plan development, competitive acquisitions, joint venture negotiations and due diligence. Corporate reorganisation and improvement of finance functions and other operational departments including procedure and protocol implementation. Reporting - statutory and management, KPIs,  board reporting and governance.

Greg is a seasoned finance professional with experience encompassing food industry FMCG, publishing, office supplies, health care, and forestry. His skills are international having worked for well known international brands in Australia and overseas and he has a wealth of experience in manufacturing and distribution. He has also worked with and a variety of start up ventures.

Greg has held executive positions of Chief Financial Officer and Director and Secretary as well having as general management responsibilities for Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, QA and Engineering. He is well experienced in business development, corporate improvement, ERP implementations and financial management.

Greg enjoys focussing on operational and strategic planning, performance review and implementation of profit improvement programmes. He has managed the reorganisation and restructure of finance and operational areas and implemented KPI reporting and corporate policies. He was a leader in the set up of ERP systems in many Eastern European countries in the early 1990’s as well as similar developments in the Asia/Pacific region. From this broad experience in large and medium organisations he has been a valuable asset to start up operations implementing and vastly improving systems, operational effectiveness and reporting in organisations experiencing rapid change to the cultural environment.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts with Accounting major from Macquarie University. He is a CPA Fellow, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and registered tax agent.
