CFO Strategic Founder Laura Raymer has over 20 years experience in executive and board positions with companies
ranging from small incorporated to multinational organisations in a variety of
industries in Australia, Europe and North America.

Strategy development, business planning, competitive
acquisitions, joint venture negotiations and due
diligence. Corporate restructuring, reorganisation and
improvement of finance functions and other operational
departments. Board reporting, governance and
effectiveness.

private equity managers and investees.
Laura has extensive
experience in the Information Technology, Media,
Communications and Gaming environments in Australia and
she has worked overseas with multinational
organisations in a variety of industries. This
experience enabled her to improve operational
effectiveness in environments characterised by dynamic
change and complex regulatory issues.
She works closely with CEOs, Boards and executive teams
developing integrated strategic and operational plans,
and facilitating their achievement through the creation
of high performing motivated operational teams. She led
corporate teams through major acquisitions and joint
ventures providing strategic focus and creating
innovative structures and ensuring operationally
successful integrations.
Laura has over 15 years
experience in strategy development, corporate
restructuring and financial management. Initially she
focussed on corporate evaluation and business turnaround
working for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (Australia), and
Price Waterhouse Coopers (UK). During her career she has
worked with multinational corporations in Australia, New
Zealand, Europe, USA and Canada.
Laura has proven
experience as a senior finance executive having
performed the roles of Finance Director and Operations
Director of AOL|7, a joint venture between AOL Time
Warner Inc, Seven Network Limited and Telecom New
Zealand (via its Australian subsidiary AAPT Limited).
She was also the Finance Director of IGT (Australia) Pty
Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of International Game
Technology (US), the largest gaming manufacturing and
system company in the world.
Laura holds a Bachelor of
Business from Queensland University of Technology. She
is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Australian
Institute of Company Directors. She
is also a director of Relationships Australia (NSW) and Artspace Visual Arts Centre
Limited, a contemporary arts organisation.
