CFO Strategic Partner Rachael has over 15 years of experience in CFO and Senior Finance roles across the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), fashion wholesale/retail, and mining industries in Australia, New Zealand and Taiwan.

Specialist areas: Strategic planning, business performance review and improvement. Reorganisation and restructure of finance and operational areas, including establishing KPIs, and corporate policies. Commercial deal analysis and negotiations, analysis and modelling, cash flow management.

Rachael has proven experience in well known listed and unlisted companies in diverse industries. Her responsibilities ranged across finance, IT and the complexities of operating internationally. Rachael’s skills were derived from her roles as Chief Financial Officer for Rip Curl Australia/New Zealand and Mars Taiwan, a subsidiary of one of the largest privately owned FMCG corporations in the world. She began her career with KPMG and recently she has been engaged in consulting CFO roles in the mining industry.

Rachael specialises in helping organisations which are undergoing significant change or growth to develop and implement the vital supporting commercial and financial strategies, teams, systems and processes. She has worked with CEO’s, Boards and executive teams improve profitability, revenue and business processes. She has also been instrumental in the establishment and review of business performance indicators, cashflow management improvements, changing processes, policies and systems to drive improve profitability and supplier tender negotiations.

Rachael holds a Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in Accountancy from Charles Sturt University. She is a member of CPA Australia.
